- Joseph SamuelsAmbassador
Joey loves the idea behind Leave A Trace because he travels with one guiding principle in mind: “what can I do here that I can’t do anywhere else in the world?” So far that’s led to some pretty fun adventures, including driving a golf cart sixty kilometers down the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, taking the world’s highest cog train through the Alps in Switzerland, and indulging In more local delicacies than Joey or his wasitline would care to admit. Joey didn’t make it out of the US until he was 17 (though that didn’t stop him from visiting 39 of the 50 states). Since then he’s hit 16 countries and hopes to keep on adding with trips to Spain, Portugal, and Iceland in the near future.
Joey is currently pursuing a J.D. from Yale. He uses travel as a way to get away from the books and learn outside the classroom. Being able to give back when he travels is just one more perk.
